The Simpsons 416-420 Papa Don't Leech This episode premiered on April 13th 2008. The lead in show was American Dad and was followed by King Of The Hill. It ran opposite Oprah's Big Give, 60 Minutes and Monk. The title comes from the 1986 Madonna song Papa Don't Preach. The couch gag is an artist brush paints the family onto the couch while cartoonish music plays. Homer is letting Grandpa drive. Abe tries to find a song he likes and clips Patty and Selma coming the other way. Homer and Abe go over the side of the road and roll down the hill eventually landing in the middle of the highway, where Grandpa once again drives off a closed road and crashes. When Grandpa says he'll have to live with the Simpsons Homer strangles him, however it's Homer dreaming, while he's driving Lisa to deliver Gal Scout cookies. The Simpsons 411-415 That 90's Show This episode premiered on January 27th 2008. The lead in show was Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader and was followed by King Of The Hill. It ran opposite Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Shark and the U.S. Figure Skating Championship. The title comes from That 70's Show. The couch gag is the family is sitting on the couch and underneath is written Ceci n'est pas une couch gag. This is a play on the painting The Treachery Of Images by Rene Magritte. They then zoom out to a group of museum patrons looking at the painting. The joke, of course is that nothing is happening so it isn't a couch gag and yet the play on the famous painting makes it a couch gag. Get it? The family is freezing because Homer hasn't paid the heating bill because he thought global warming would have kicked in. While finding things to burn Bart comes across Marge's old memory box. The title of the episode comes from the comic strip and movie Little Orphan Annie The chalkboard gag is "There is no such thing as an iPoddy" and the couch gag is the family is on the cover of Modern Couch Gag magazine "10 couch gags to spice up your marriage. The boat painting is crooked. At a picnic a bee gets on Maggie.
