As The Station Turns 10/31
Today I was woken by a "ping" on my iPad, I keep it next to my bed so I can play Angry Birds first thing in the morning instead of getting up. I freaked out, the Boss wanted me to cover the morning shift at the Downtown station on Saturday but I was sure he said next Saturday. Was there someone waiting for me to come in and I was late? It turns out my sister sent me a Happy Halloween message, at 7 AM. I'm dressing up for work as an overworked, under appreciated, under paid employee. I wonder how many people will get it. Bigfoot left me $6 in dollar bills to open my shift. The guy does a crappy job with the drawers. The good news is I won't have to deal with his drawer for a week. I hope the Crazy Lady gets a drawer without a proper amount of change. Speaking of the graveyard shift, the Crazy Lady and the Graveyard Shift Guy are working afternoon shifts, solo, and complaining.
